An Adventure with Botswana Safaris is One You Will Never Forget
After getting married, we resolved to plan our honeymoon soon after. We both knew each other was daring seeing as we had an grand outdoor wedding and we were conceiving of spending a substantial amount of time overseas. We reckoned about Europe and Asia but then came across botswana safaris. Africa wasn’t our optimal choice but it was definitely something to consider. After looking at many pictures and reading reviews, we decided to expand our reading further.
It wasn’t long before we decided that Africa was out prime choice. Sure, we could stay in Europe and visit the Louvre but we favored something to a greater extent original. We are thrill seekers and go-getters! This would be our first adventure in concert as a married couple and in Africa nonetheless! We read through numerous tours, including the Tanzania safaris as well. There were marketing points to each. In Botswana there was the desert and grasslands. Most of the country is covered in desert which wasn’t at introductory very appealing. We did read that they have one of the biggest concentrations of elephants in Africa which turned out to be one of the biggest selling points for me.
It didnt take a lot of coercion to convince him that Botswana was the point to go. Although only having less than 10,000 hunters and gatherers today, we wanted to see that slice of Africa civilization. We also read up on the cuisine that included Mopane worms (sounds okay, right?). overall, the Botswana safaris did not leave us with anything to spare. We loved every second of the trip even eating the worms! The official language is English so it was easier than we thought it would be to navigate our way around. It was an excellent adventure that topped the Paris tenfold. There is no better way to spend your honey-moon than taking on a different challenge in Africa.
